📍Monaco was a dream
Monaco was most definitely a dream. It wasn't a planned trip at all. My friend and I had travelled to Limone Piemonte, Italy ( next post). 3 hours drive from Monaco, of which we had to drive past Monaco in order to catch our flight in Nice back to London.
Nice is 30 minutes away from Monaco, even quicker by Helicopter. On my next trip I will do it all again properly. However, driving towards Monaco at 7.30PM driving through the mountains and high roads, I could see the bright lights and beautiful sea, the scenery was a picture. One, you could write about but a memory that you simply cannot elucidate, the person just has to see and feel for themselves . As the moments passed we drove further away from the view as we were getting close to the centre of Monaco, the energy felt right. That was when I knew i'd fall in love with Monaco.
And I did. It was unfortunate that we had arrived so late, that we didn't get to experience a full first day. So my friend and I rushed getting ready as soon as we arrived at the hotel. My outfit choice was already in my mind in the car journey on the way there. Black of course, but a jumpsuit I had bought a year ago and had never worn. With a cheap but cheerful Zara thin blazer which cost about £12 which was a joke as it looked so elegant and the material is nice.
I had never understood why people were such zara fans, I had checked the store out over the years and was never fond of anything. Especially if It were a sale it would look like a jumbo sale, things on the floor, people going crazy! Far from enticing I must say, until one day I was shopping online typing in various visions in google where Zara popped up. That was it, i've become a Zara fan. It's been 3 months and 7 days. Lol
I've always believed in mixing and matching. I could be wearing £1,000 shoes, £40 dress and £3,000 bag and £800 coat As long as your shoes, bag and coat are of good quality, you can wear just about anything.
Casino de Monte-Carlo was the first place we got to, even though it was crawling with hotties we were busy taking photos by the swing (See photos below) we were hungry so we decided to dine at Buddha Bar and return to the casino later on. Dinner was great, bar was boring and too many perverted men annoying us. We arrived back at Casino de Montecarlo where we made a friend, who was a member there and took us into a members club area which was the best place i've ever been to in my life, looks wise (No photos allowed unfortunatley). Shocking right, I have been to some wonderful places, I do almost everyday. But this was out of this world and had a few roulette tables where other members were playing.
A guy lost 2 Million euros that evening, yet he was still playing for hours. Loosing and winning.
He was on his own which I felt sad, as it's an addiction I would wish on no one, You can tell he's there most nights. And at the end of the day, the house always wins!
A lot of young boys too, even one who was the best looking guy i've ever seen in my life, but two bad factors he's married. (urgh so young as well!) and he's a gambler, gambling at 6am in the morning instead of being in bed with wifey. No ones perfect, but I wouldn't want that. I'd try my best to help someone with addictions as it's also a disease.
